Greetings Homeowners:
Just a friendly reminder to pick up after your pets and keep them leashed when you are walking them throughout the community.
ALL dog owners that take their dogs for walks in their neighborhoods are required to ALWAYS keep their dogs on leash and under physical restraint. Please note that having the leash in your possession and not attached to the dog is not considered having the dog on a leash.
Please be respectful and clean up all areas including sidewalks/walkways, vacant lots, common areas and individuals’ property. Pets need to be always leashed and under control. Dog waste is more than just a smelly and unsightly mess. It’s also a breeding ground for infection. Bacteria, worms, and other parasites thrive in the waste until it’s cleaned up or washed into the water supply . Local pet ordinances require pet owners to properly dispose of pet droppings. Neglecting to do so can result in heavy fines in addition to possible legal action by local code enforcement and/or animal control division for your county.
Although this may not be a pleasant chore, it is the responsibility of a pet owner. Feel free to contact your local Animal Control for information regarding these ordinances.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation.
Best Regards,
